Working with The Joanie Bernard Foundation we established the Ten movement. We aimed to reduce overpopulation and eliminate the kill-shelter execution of unwanted cats. Research revealed that some people think a cat will feel less “manly” if he’s neutered. The absurd idea of a cat’s sexual identity became the basis of our campaign. Year one we introduced both the Ten Movement and Scooter the Neutered Cat. Year Two we dug a little deeper into the benefits of spaying and neutering and introduced Scooter’s female counterpart Marmalade.
